The Masai Mara is Kenya's crown jewel — a vast savannah teeming with lion, leopard, cheetah, elephant and buffalo. Between roughly July and October, over a million wildebeest and zebra cross the Mara River on their circular migration, one of the planet's great wildlife spectacles. Maasai communities live alongside the reserve, and cultural visits can be arranged.
